Freestyle Development Camp
September 7 - September 14$600
Come and join us in the sleepy town of St Pierre De Bouef, in the south of France. Situated on the banks of the river Rhone, an hours drive from Lyon. Basing ourselves on the artificial white water course of Espace Eaux Vives. A superb venue with plenty to offer paddlers of all abilities. Espace Eaux Vives is the perfect course to rapidly develop and progress your White Water Kayaking skills. The white water course is arguably one of the best for progression, allowing you to start lower down and build up towards the more challenging upper sections of the course. Those already confident in their abilities on grade 2/3 will find many areas in which to hone and perfect their skills, isolate specific techniques and focus on improvement. Allowing for hard moves on easy white water.
For the freestylers we have several waves and three superb holes to use, each with very different characteristics. As well as great spots for all manner of downriver moves. It is an excellent training ground for any freestyle paddler, World Champion Tom Dolle is amongst those that call this course home.Although being part of a group, this trip is tailored to suit you as individuals both on and off the water. Our coaches Dan Daley & Mike Shaw have over 40 years kayaking experience between them and look forward to working with you to set achievable aims and goals for the trip and in your personal paddling beyond.
Remember this is a holiday in an amazing setting with lots to enjoy as well as kayaking. Once off the river, there will be the opportunity to take advantage of the coaches who will be more than happy to share their knowledge and help you to experience more of the local areas before you dine in the evenings.Food is not included in the price and is down to you as individuals or as a group to arrange. You’ll have a kitchen in the accommodation with a decked dining area allowing you to eat inside or out. A great set up for group dining, drinks and a great place to unwind ready for the next unforgettable day of progress. To make your travel even easier, our team are happy to take your boat and paddle over so you can fly in, hire a car and relax knowing your own boat is ready for you on arrival.
