Bronze Expedition 

Included in the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award programme each participant will receive training, route planning and expeditions the numbers of these will be tailored to your expedition package. 

The training received by the participants will be, navigation with a map and compass, emergency first aid, emergency procedures, how to pack a dry bag, how to safely use a gas trangia stove, how to pitch a tent and the Duke of Edinburgh 20 conditions. They will also be trained to a competent level of their chosen paddlesport.

Included in the price of our packages will be compasses, maps, tents, stoves, gas, canoe/kayak/standup paddle board, buoyancy aids, dry bags and barrels for kit, paddles and our very knowledgeable qualified staff. The final expedition for the bronze award programme is two days  on the water with a one night camp.

Silver Expedition 

Included in the Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award programme each participant will receive a full days training, route planning, a practice expedition and an assessed expedition. 

The training received by the participants will be, navigation with a map and compass, emergency first aid, emergency procedures, how to pack a dry bag, how to safely use a gas trangia stove, how to pitch a tent and the Duke of Edinburgh 20 conditions. They will also be trained to a competent level of their chosen paddlesport.

The final expedition for the Silver award programme is three days on the water and two nights camping

Gold Expedition

Included in the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award programme each participant will receive a full days training, route planning, a practice expedition and an assessed expedition. The training received by the participants will be, advanced navigation with a map and compass, emergency first aid, emergency procedures, how to pack a dry bag, how to safely use a gas trangia stove, how to pitch a tent and the Duke of Edinburgh 20 conditions. They will also be trained to a high level of their chosen paddlesport.

Included in the price of our packages will be compasses, maps, tents, stoves, gas, canoe/kayak/standup paddle board, buoyancy aids, dry bags and barrels for kit, paddles and our very knowledgeable qualified staff. The final expedition for the Gold award programme is four days on the water and three nights camping. They can choose to wild camp if they want to for 1 or more nights but this is up to the team if they want too.
