Description
Come and join our River Skills Canoe Intro Course if you want to introduce your flat water canoe skills and develop them in a natural river environment. We will tailor the course to help achieve your personal goals and develop your skills in the following areas:
- Personal Paddling Skills
- Safety and Rescue
- Canoe set up
The River Skills Canoe Intro course can be held at different locations all over the UK.
Course Content:
- 2 days of coaching on natural rivers.
- Your coaches will be developing an individualised action plan for you throughout the course. These are designed to help further your skills after the course is complete.
Pre-Requisite
We recommend that you are competent at paddling a canoe on flat water to be able to go on this course. If you are unsure whether or not this course is for you, please give us a call or drop us a message, and we’ll help guide you down the correct path!
Equipment:
Boats and equipment can be hired for an additional cost. Please enquire when booking and we can give you a price breakdown.
Minimum Number and Water Levels:
All of our river skills courses require a minimum number to run. When in natural river environments course may be moved location or postponed if we do not have the correct conditions.
Courses being run on man-made venues do not include your water fees in the booking cost.
