The River Skills Kayak Advanced Course is for those looking to take their skills and apply them to some serious whitewater! Whether you’re at this level already and you’re looking for some river knowledge and tips/tricks or you’re upping your game from Moderate water to Advanced this course is for you. It’s a bespoke course aimed to give you exactly what you need.
When booking your space on the River Skills Kayak Advanced Course you have the opportunity to focus on some of the following options. This will help us initially tailor the 2 days to your specific goals;
- Personal River skills
- Decision making
- Leadership & Group management
- Safety
So if you’re thinking of signing up for a leader training course, preparing for a leadership assessment or just want 2 days developing your river skills this course is for you!
COURSE CONTENT:
- 2 days of coaching.
- Your coaches will be developing an individualised action plan for you throughout the course. These are designed to help further your skills after the course is complete.
Pre-Requisite
Comfortable paddling on rivers graded 3/4
A White Water roll isn’t essential but highly recommended
Equipment:
Boats and equipment can be hired for an additional cost. Please enquire when booking and we can give you a price breakdown.
Minimum Number and Water Levels:
All of our river skills courses require a minimum number to run. When in natural river environments course may be moved location or postponed if we do not have the correct conditions.
Courses being run on man-made venues do not include your water fees in the booking cost.
