The Duke of Edinburgh Award is an internationally recognized youth achievement program that challenges participants to develop their skills, physical fitness, and commitment to volunteering while also completing an adventurous outdoor expedition. With three levels of achievement, Bronze, Silver, and Gold, the program is an excellent addition to any resume or CV, as it helps develop and showcase essential soft skills like communication, commitment, leadership, and teamwork, which employers and universities highly value. Completing any level of the DofE award program will enable you to demonstrate that you’ve learned and practically applied these vital skills, providing you with an edge over others who may not have such experiences.
