Description
Looking for an introduction to whitewater kayaking? Interested in taking your flat water or whitewater center paddling skills to the real rivers? In the River Skills Kayak Intro course we’ll be building the skills you need to successfully negotiate your way down grade 2/3 white water rapids with confidence and poise.
Throughout the River Skills Kayak Intro course our coaches will work with you to hone your existing skills and introduce you to white water specific paddling techniques to help you towards your paddling goals.
This one day course can be held at different locations all over the UK and Europe. See our booking table below for dates and locations.
COURSE CONTENT:
- 1 Day of coaching.
- Your coaches will be developing an individualised action plan for you throughout the course. These are designed to help further your skills after the course is complete.
- Discount for booking 2 back to back days
Pre-Requisite
We recommend being competent on flat water at a 2-star/explore award standard.

Equipment:
Boats and equipment can be hired for an additional cost. Please enquire when booking and we can give you a price breakdown.
Minimum Number and Water Levels:
All of our river skills courses require a minimum number to run. When in natural river environments course may be moved location or postponed if we do not have the correct conditions.
Courses being run on man-made venues do not include your water fees in the booking cost.
