White Water Leader Assessment Week
We Are a 1% Company
Description
Our white water leader development week is for those who are looking to complete their leader assessment but would like a refresher on leadership principles, safety and the opportunity to lead real groups. This is also open to people that have not completed a formal training but feel they are ready for the assessment, as training is no longer a pre requisite for assessment of BCAB Leadership awards, however the other assessment prerequisites will need to be in place. (please see below)
Everyone attending should have already been out and developed their leading and feel they are close or ready for an assessment.
The week is set at a maximum of 4 leaders to give everyone the most development possible and time leading.
Program:
Day 1 – Leadership refresher and personal skill development
Day 2 – leading real students in 2 / 3
Day 3 – White water safety refresher and personal skills development
Day 4 – Leader Assessments
Day 5 – Leader Assessments
(on days 4 and 5 only 2 candidates will be assessed each day. If you are not on assessment that day is another opportunity to get out and paddle with other aspirant leaders)
