Complience
This one-day emergency outdoor first aid course is tailored for individuals engaged in outdoor activities or working in rural areas.
Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge and skills to handle a variety of first aid emergencies confidently, safely, and effectively, especially when professional medical help is not readily accessible.
The course covers essential topics such as summoning assistance, monitoring and responding to changes in vital signs, administering CPR, and managing blood loss. This qualification meets the Institute for Outdoor Learning’s Band 2 training requirements.
Duration
The minimum classroom contact time of 8 hours must be delivered over a minimum of 1 day. The course can be spread over a maximum of 4 weeks ensuring that each session is a minimum of two hours.

Numbers
The course can accommodate 12 students, provided they are at least 16 years old. Upon completing the course, all students can receive a certificate, subject to assessment. If you require more participants in one day, please get in touch with us to arrange a quote, as multiple instructors will be required.
It’s important to note that a student must be at least 16 years old to take on any workplace responsibilities. In such cases, the employer must ensure that the student is suitable for the role. The certificate’s validity will expire on the specified date, regardless of the holder’s age.
