Two days of sunny paddling in North Wales with Dan Daley delivering the BCAB White Water Kayak Coach Training.
Information gathering, profiling, test piecing, technical templates and session structures were all on the cards to develop how we coach to best suit the needs of each learner in front of us.
Day one visiting the lower Tryweryn and seeing how we can use static and on the move coaching sessions as well as varying environments to support learner development.
Day two based at Mile End Mill on the dee practising using our coaching with structured sessions while building technical templates.
